Abstract
Sexual abuse is an important behavioral problem that has serious psychological , social and educational consequences , post-traumatic stress disorders may occur after this type of abuse.
International studies proved that victims of sexual abuse in childhood will be perpetrator and sexually abuser in the future, this problem was not studied in Iraq .
The objectives of this study were to identify the extent of the problem according to teachers knowledge and to determine the most important associated factors related to this neglected health problem.
A random sample of 228 teachers from 162 randomly selected primary schools in Babylon province during the academic year 2013-2014 . A validated reliable questionnaire was used to collect data.
